Reliable choice for dinner
This was my third time eating at Browns, and they're consistently good. We had the ribeye steak and the lobster risotto. Both were cooked perfectly, and the ingredients tasted fresh. I've had their afternoon tea before too, and that was also lovely. It's nice to know what to expect, and they always deliver a good meal without any fuss. That's why I keep coming back when I'm looking for a solid dinner option.
Nice meal, slow service
My partner and I went for the traditional roast beef. The food was quite good, well-cooked and flavorful. The atmosphere was pleasant too, classic brasserie feel. However, the service was a bit slow, especially when we were waiting for the bill. It wasn't terrible, but it took a while to get anyone's attention. Overall, a decent experience but they could speed things up.
Excellent afternoon tea!
I took my mum for afternoon tea for two and it was just wonderful! The sandwiches were fresh, the scones were warm, and those little cakes were so pretty and delicious. We had prosecco too, which made it feel extra special. The setting was so elegant, we really enjoyed our time. I'm already planning to go back for their festive menu, it was that good!
Good value set lunch
I tried the 2 courses for a fixed price lunch menu. I got the fish and chips and then the sticky toffee pudding. The food was solid, and for the price I paid it felt like a really good deal. Definitely saved some money compared to ordering from the main menu.
